These are done in 18" lengths with varying thicknesses/widths. There are 7 pockets, each with 3 neodymium magnets set into each one with epoxy. This means you can very comfortably hold 7 knives! Each has two keyholes on the back and can be hung with the included screws. The pieces are finished with several coats of matte lacquer which gives a beautiful natural look to them while protecting for years to come.
 
A little history on wormy sinker cypress,which is both a beautiful and rare wood. These logs are salvaged from the depths of rivers and lakes where they were lost decades or even hundreds of years ago while being transported via the waterways in which they sunk in.
Sinker cypress gets its beautiful look and colors from the salinity of the water and minerals in which they have laid over time. "Wormy" sinker cypress gets the holes you see from shipworms, which are actually a type of mollusk that burrows into the wood, leaving a very unique character to the wood. The resulting lumber is one that is rich in character and has a great story behind it.
